Since our foundation in 1985, NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane Construction Company has grown into the builder of choice in the state of Texas and its surrounding region.
1985
Bob Marwill forms The NG28ÄϹ¬ Group in Dallas with 15 employees.
1986
The NG28ÄϹ¬ Group establishes an office in Austin, Texas and begins work on its first local project, Renaissance Assisted Living.
1988
The NG28ÄϹ¬ Group builds Brinker Elementary School for Plano ISD, the company’s first ground-up K-12 project.
1992
The NG28ÄϹ¬ Group establishes an office in Houston, Texas and is awarded Kleb Intermediate School for Klein ISD.
1995
Jim McShane acquires the assets of The NG28ÄϹ¬ Group, establishing NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane Corporation.
1995
Neal Harper is named President of NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane Corporation.
2012
Will Hodges is named President of NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane Construction Company.
2014
NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane relocates its headquarters to 5057 Keller Springs Road in Addison, Texas.
2015
NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane celebrates its 30th anniversary with 135 employees.
2015
NG28ÄϹ¬ McShane establishes an office in San Antonio, Texas, its fourth location in the state.
2020
Molly McShane is appointed Chief Executive Officer of The McShane Companies. Since joining the company in 2002, Molly has spearheaded major strategic initiatives across McShane’s portfolio of services, most notably its expansion into new geographic markets and a conscious effort to create a diverse workplace.
